Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Zync AI Solutions, LLC ("Icon," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Icon mobile application (the "App" or "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Icon. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts, and we do not currently verify age at sign-up beyond this requirement — see the Privacy Policy for how we handle this.

2Your Account

You must provide a valid email address, choose a username, and set a password to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@tryiconsocial.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and associated content from our systems, as described in the Privacy Policy.

3Your Content

Icon lets you post photos, videos, captions, comments, Daily Drops, audio tracks ("Icon Sounds"), and other material ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

By posting User Content, you grant Icon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service (for example, showing your posts in feeds, Explore, and to other users you interact with). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has been shared with, or reposted by, another user before deletion, or where we're required to retain it by law.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to post it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

4Acceptable Use

You agree to use Icon in accordance with our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. In short: don't harass, threaten, or impersonate others; don't post illegal, sexually explicit, or hateful content; don't post content you don't have the rights to; don't spam, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service; and don't use the Service for anything unlawful.

We provide tools to help you control your experience, including the ability to block other users and to report content or accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We may review reported content and, at our discretion, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5Direct Messages

Icon includes a messaging feature for private conversations between users. Messages are stored on our servers to enable delivery and conversation history. Don't use messaging to harass, spam, or send content that would otherwise violate these Terms.

6Icon Status and Creator Shop

Reaching certain engagement milestones on Daily Drops unlocks "Icon Status," a recognition tier reflected by a verified badge on your profile. Icon Status may also unlock access to a Creator Shop feature. Creator Shop is planned but not yet active — no purchases, payments, or product listings are processed through Icon today. If and when Creator Shop launches, we'll update these Terms and our Privacy Policy to describe how it works, including any payment processor involved, before it goes live.

7Location Services

Certain features (such as finding nearby thrift stores and pop-up events) use your device's location, with your permission, only while you're actively using that feature. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings; some features may not work without it.

8Third-Party Services and Tagged Items

Icon uses third-party infrastructure to operate, including Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and Apple services (push notifications, and Apple Music previews where applicable). Your use of those integrations is also subject to those providers' own terms.

Posts may include items tagged by their creator, which can link out to a third-party retailer's website. Tapping a tagged item takes you outside Icon to that retailer's site (or to a web search for it); we don't control, and aren't responsible for, the content, products, or privacy practices of any third-party site you reach this way.

9Intellectual Property

The Icon name, logo, app design, and underlying software are owned by Zync AI Solutions, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our branding except as necessary to use the Service as intended.

10Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you've violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or to protect the safety of other users or the Service itself.

11Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we're not responsible for User Content posted by others.

12Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zync AI Solutions, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.

13Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

14Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
